The Suad Baydoun National Debate & Essay Writing Competitions

An invitation for young people to develop an argument, express a point of view and take their ideas seriously.

In May 2026, SwitSalone reported the announcement of national debate and essay-writing competitions through Baydoun Company Limited, bringing university debate and secondary-school essay writing into focus.

Subsequent reporting by Sierraloaded and Awoko recorded Fourah Bay College’s debate victory. The coverage places education and young people’s voices at the centre of the initiative.
